PX index versus inflation over 20 years

We will look at the development of the PX index in comparison with inflation over the last 20 years (2000 to 2019). Here is a graph comparing inflation with the PX index over the last 25 years. Data on specific inflation are available from the Czech Statistical Office for the last 20 years (ie from the beginning of 1999 to the end of 2019).

PX:IND – Prague Stock Exchange Index

Prague Stock Exchange Index (PX) is an index of the most liquid shares on Prague Stock Exchange. Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic in Europe. The history of the Prague Stock Exchange index dates back to 1993.

The development of PX index can be found for example on websites:

  • Bloomberg website (5-year history of the PX index),
  • Prague Stock Exchange (the website shows the history of the index since 1993)
  • kurzy.cz (the Czech website, PX index is there for the last 10 years).
